Belgium, in circles of fruit lovers, is known for its perfect climate for the cultivation of pears. The Conference is one of our best-known export products. This pear is popular worldwide because of its reliable firmness, its unique taste pallet and its excellent freshness.
Yet this is not the only pear we grow and trade: Doyenné du Comice, Durondeau, Queen's Forelle, Early Desire, Lucas and other species are also represented in our range. This is not surprising as each of these pears has its unique characteristics in terms of taste, availability and shelf life.
Devos Group is a dynamic company, every day we work on a surprising new product. We also created 2 new pear varieties: Early Desire and Queen's Forelle. These pears are completely exclusive and enjoy increasing brand awareness.

One of the absolute specialties of the house is the Conference. The green-tanned color goes well with ripening but remains and remains a thin and naturally formed pear. The flesh is white, juicy and sweet, which gives a refined taste and makes the Conference an absolute versatile product.
The Durondeau is a typical autumn pear and is considered by fanciers as the "king of pears". It is a pear with a very pronounced, aromatic and fresh-sweet-sour taste. The Durondeau can be used for multiple purposes, especially as a dessert and stew.
This spherical pear is available from September to December and is praised by its juiciness and freshness. Her thirst-quenching character makes this fruit a favorite of ice-cream makers and bakers.
Since 2009 Devos Group has been growing and selling the exclusive red Queen's Forelle pear. Queen's Forelle is a new, fresh and yellow-green pear with bright red blush. It has a sweet and aromatic taste with crispy and fresh flesh. Queen's Forelle is best when she is crunchy, she is immediately edible after purchase. Queen's Forelle also lends itself perfectly in the kitchen as it is a hard, firm pear that does not disintegrate with the yarn. Queen's Forelle is a new variety in construction and is provisionally available from mid-October to March.
The Early Desire is an early autumn pear with a red blush. Just before the Conférence, this pear is ready for harvesting, being the beginning of September and offers a perfect alternative for those who can not wait for the big harvest. Early Desire, an early desire, what's in a name?
Throughout the year we also offer other types of pear such as Lucas, Corina and cons. These fruits are only available for a few months. Do not hesitate to contact us to get to know the most recent offer!
